Having finally reached level 70 and purchased my first flying mount, I’ve decided to spend more time in Outland and the Burning Crusade in an attempt to earn enough World of Warcraft gold to eventually purchase an epic flying mount.

If you have been following my series of articles on making easy wow gold in Outland, you will know that I have been exploring the fractured realm of Netherstorm. It was while traversing the purple-dark ether of the Twisting Nether that I stumbled upon a settlement inhabited by mad goblins known as Area 52.

Area 52 is a neutral goblin town found on the southwestern most island of the fractured Netherstorm. It’s a small hovel of a town, much less pretty than Everlook and more worn-torn than Gadgetzan.

But for Engineers, it’s paradise!

There are strange goings on at Area 52 with the goblins hell-bent on building a gigantic rocket-ship called the X-52 Nether Rocket. It’s sole purpose, so they tell me, is to travel to the Twisting Nether – though why, no one knows.

I had heard rumors of Area 52 while at the Stormspire, earning Reputation with my new friends of The Consortium. The few goblins I had met there , spoke of the fabulous – but utterly crazy – devices produced by highly experienced goblin engineers at that location. One such sought after device is known as ‘A Dimensional Ripper – Area 52′.

The Dimensional Ripper – Area 52 is a Trinket that can only be made by those players possessing at lease 350 experience in goblin engineering. Its manufacture is learned from the famed goblin teleport engineer, Kablamm Farflinger. When used, the very ether is ripped asunder and you are instantly transported to Area 52.

But like all goblin engineering, it does not come without a few defects!

For example, the device has been known to teleport you to a floating slab of rock, out in the Twisting Nether. There have also been rumors of the pattern buffer mixing up player’s atoms.

Talk about instant sex change!

But probably the most strange is the ability of the device to split a players soul into good and evil, with either the good or evil soul emerging from the teleport!

So should you visit Area 52, take care in the trinkets that you purchase – especially, the Dimensional Ripper – Area 52, which, if you take my advice, you’ll sell it on the Auction House for at least 300g and avoid the embarrassment of possibly a hyper-dimensional sex change.
