If you watch any sort of commercial television, you’ve probably stumbled upon an infomercial for a device called the Ab Rocket. In the infomercial they show you a bunch of very good looking men and women who swear by the AbRocket and claim that it’s the reason they got their flat and sexy stomach.

But does the Ab Rocket really work or is it a scam? I haven’t used this machine, and I want to make that clear, so I have no idea whether it works or not. However, I just don’t see how it can do all that it’s supposed to because it only takes care of one aspect of the process which is necessary to get a flat stomach: the exercise part.

The other aspect is the nutritional one. Simply put, you can’t lose belly fat is your nutrition is bad, and I don’t care how great the workouts which the Abs Rocket provides. The truth is that it’s well known that you can’t spot reduce fat. This means that if you just work your abs, which is all this machine does, you still burn fat proportionally from all over your body. You may develop the stomach muscles, but you won’t be able to burn that stubborn layer of belly fat which covers them up.

Therefore, it is my opinion that the Ab Rocket, or any other abs workout machine, won’t be enough to give you the kind of abs you truly desire. To do that, you need to workout right and most of all follow a sound nutrition plan.

If you want to workout with this machine then by all means do so. If it gives you motivation to exercise then it’s worth it. But, make sure to learn how and what you need to eat in order to really get to the core of the problem which is the excess belly fat that you’re carrying.
automated blogs

Converting a basement into a home theater area can be a fun
family project. The basement in most homes usually has ample
floor space for a project of this type. The renovated basement
will add value to the home and becomes a beautiful extension of
your usable living space.

With the hectic lifestyles of today, people want a calming space
where they can unwind from their frenetic schedules. With a little
imagination a basement can turn into a prime living area for the
family. If the space is large enough the basement can be converted
into a multi-use area. The room can provide a quiet sanctuary for
the adults, a play area for the kids and a theatre room.

A basement is the perfect space to create this special place for
the family. The planning process should include the whole family.
Space planning is the first project. The size of the room will
determine what kind of system components you will want.
Consider the configuration of the space and design your floor plan
before choosing the components.

If there is a lot of construction required to turn your basement
into your ideal theatre room, consider hiring a contractor
to help you complete the project. Choose your colors, space
use and seating If you have an idea of what you want, an interior
design consultant can help you finalize your plans.

Once the design decisions are complete you can focus on the fun
detail. The components of the room will involve big screen TV,
multiple game stations, speakers surround sound.

Since the basement is usually separate from other rooms in the
house the color and feel in this area can be fun and unique.
The basement offers you the opportunity to create a great
home theater space in bright bold colors, or use more subtle
colors with old world charm.

Plan for the best seating options in your new converted
basement space. Home theatre seating comes in a variety of
fabrics and colors. Some theatre seats share a common arm.
The seats can be customized for any number of adjoining seats.
Plan for family holidays together so there will be enough seating
for everyone. Seats are available in micro fiber fabric, microfiber
suede, faux leather or premium leather. You can purchase the same
comfortable seats used in movie theaters.

Converting your basement into a family theater room is a wonderful
use of this space. The goal is to create a space that creates
wonderful memories for the family and friends.
search at google

You don’t have to be a Rocket Scientist to understand (American) football. Granted, it does have a language all its own and there are more rules to learn than in some of the other major spectator sports, such as baseball, basketball and hockey. But the good news is, with a little patience, and a little desire, you can learn football.

Whether you’ve never watched a game in your life and have been wondering what all the fuss is about (and there is a lot), or watched a game or two and have given up because you just don’t get it, the bottom line is, you can do it!

Since trying to explain the game goes way beyond the scope of this article, let me just start with a few very basics, so that the next (or first) time you turn the TV on to watch a game, you will have some understanding of what is being shown on the screen or is being said by the commentators:

The score of the game is shown, so if for example, it shows as Chicago 7, Detroit 0, you will know that Chicago is winning 7 – 0

The time left in the quarter (there are four quarters in a game) is shown winding down, so if it shows as 12:38, you will know that there are twelve minutes and thirty eight seconds left to play in the quarter (each quarter in a professional game is fifteen minutes long as dictated by the game clock). The quarter that the game is in is also shown, i.e., 2nd

The down and number of yards to go for a first down are shown – this requires a little explanation. Each time a team takes possession of the ball (is on Offense), it is given a series of four plays, called downs to advance the ball at least ten yards. The first play in the series is first down, the second is second down, etc. If it is able to advance the ball at least ten yards in the series, it is awarded a new series of downs beginning with first down. If it can’t advance the ball at least the ten yards, it may have to give up possession of the ball. The down and number of yards to go for a first down is shown, i.e., 3rd & 7, which means it is third down, and the Offense needs to advance the ball at least seven more yards for a first down.

When the commentators say they’re “moving the chains”, it means that a team has made a first down. The chains they are referring to are two poles connected by a ten yard chain, held along the sidelines; one chain is spotted where a series starts, and the other, where the Offense must move the ball to make a first down. Each time a team makes a first down, the chains are moved ahead, thus “moving the chains”.

The yellow line on the screen that runs across the field is not really on the field, but rather the result of modern technology. It shows the TV viewers where the Offense needs to advance the ball for a first down.

The number of seconds that the Offense must start the next play (as dictated by the play clock) is sometimes shown winding down, i.e. 4 …… This means that the Offense has four seconds to start the next play; otherwise it incurs a penalty (an infraction of the rules). The Offense has 40 seconds at the end of a play to start the next one.

Any time you see the word “FLAG” or hear the commentators say there is a flag on the play, it means that one of the players (on either team) has committed a penalty.
never say never

There are many different factors that help to determine the flight capabilities of model rockets. For a model rocket to be considered stable it must be able to resist the drag coefficient in order to reach its maximum altitude while in flight. If a model rocket is unstable there is the chance of serious injury occurring. You should always find out roughly how stable your model will be before launching it.

There are a few different ways that you can do this. One method involves using the center of gravity and center of pressure. There are a few things you will need to gather to be able to figure these. You will need some scissors, a pencil, a ruler, some string and a piece of cardboard. The first step will be to locate your rocket’s center of gravity. The center of gravity is the specific point that your rocket rotates around.

To find this you will need to tie the string around the middle of the rocket. You can then begin to move the string back and forth until you find the point at which it is able to balance horizontally. Once you find this point you should make a note of it. Next you will find the center of pressure. This is the point on the rocket that is affected the most by air pressure or drag. Take the piece of cardboard and trace the profile of the rocket on it. Cut the profile out and balance it on the edge of the ruler. This will give you the rough center of pressure.

Mark the balance point on the cardboard profile and you will then be able to make any adjustments necessary. The next step is to try a string test out on the model rocket itself. Tie the string around the center of gravity and then you can swing the model around in circles making certain not to let it go. If you have properly found the CG then the rocket will point into the direction you are swinging it rather than having a wobbling motion.

By roughly calculating the CG and CP in this method you can then begin to adjust your rocket design to lessen or change these values for a longer, shorter, higher or lower flight time or path. For those that have a love of high mathematics, there is a way to calculate the CP much more accurately called the Barrowman Method. This method involves a great deal of computations but this can be offset by finding spreadsheet templates online that are free and will calculate the CP for you with just a few inputs on your part.
About the Author:

Each cruise lines are the cream of the crop, and they share certain similarities BUT most people prefer one over the other. Why do some only sail Royal Caribbean? And some only Carnival? I will try to discern the marked differences between Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruises.

Ship Class: Royal Caribbean ship is more classy in style, with elegant dining rooms, and visually more appealing than the Carnival. Carnivals décor was more casual.
Deck Space: The Royal Caribbean International (RCI) deck space is larger and wider, in comparison with Carnivals narrower deck
Cabins: The Cabins on the Carnival and RCI are almost the same square footage, but the Carnival Cabins were slightly larger. Carnival has amenities in the bathroom of every stateroom, RCI only has amenities if you get a Suite.
Shows: Both cruiselines had shows every night. The RCI had better main shows, while Carnival had better side shows.
Food: Both the Carnival and RCI cruiselines have their strong points. Carnival has more versatile food choices, as well as 24 hour room service to your room. RCI has an excellent buffet, and the Johnny Rockets Restaurant, It does not offer 24 hour room service, but you can dine at any time of the day or night in the dining area.
Crowd: The Carnival has a younger, wilder crowd versus the RCI who has a slightly older, calmer crowd. If you want a more party atmosphere, then Carnival is your best choice. If you want a more refined classy experience, than RCI is better for you. The RCI seemed more experience in handling bigger crowds than the Carnival.
Kids Programs: Both had excellent kids programs

Based on my personal experiences, and the reviews from cruisecritic.com, RCI seems to have an slight edge on the Carnival. Keep in mind that you have to consider your own needs, wallet, and style.
About the Author:
